Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

DuoPaid ("we", "us") provides scheduling and invoicing software to small trade businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information — the business owner's name, email, phone, and business name provided at signup.
  • Customer records — names, phone numbers, email addresses, and job details that businesses enter about their own customers.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use information to operate the service: to authenticate users, schedule jobs, send transactional notifications (appointment reminders and invoice payment links) by SMS and email, process subscription billing, and provide support. We do not sell personal information.

Text messaging

Mobile numbers collected for SMS notifications are used solely to deliver transactional messages related to a customer's requested service. We do not share SMS opt-in data, consent, or phone numbers with any third parties, except the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf. See our SMS Messaging Policy for details.

Service providers

We share data only with the vendors that power DuoPaid: Stripe (payments), Surge (SMS), Amazon Web Services (hosting and email), and Neon (database). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

Data retention & your choices

We retain account and customer data for as long as an account is active. Customers can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages. To request access to or deletion of your data, email support@duopaid.com.
